AOP Lirac
Les Cosses
Ripe fruit, liquorice and spice from low-yielding vineyard plots.
Presentation
Great finesse and elegance, with aromas of ripe fruit, liquorice and a subtle spicy note.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, with 15% aged in oak barrels, from sandy soils and rounded pebbles.
The vineyard
This cuvée is made from grapes grown in the Les Cosses vineyard plots, where low yields of around 30 hectolitres per hectare help concentrate the aromas.
Extended ageing, partly in tanks and partly in oak barrels, allows the wine to develop its full expression.
Sold in cases of 6 bottles.
